Educational criteria:
- Candidate must be a student of West Bengal Board of Secondary Education, West Bengal Council for Higher Secondary Education, or Madrasa Education.
- Undergraduate courses must stick to undergraduate degrees in Science, Arts, Commerce, Engineering, Medical, and Technical/Professional courses admitted through AICTE-approved institutions and affiliated with the West Bengal State Council of Technical & Vocational Education and Skill Development.
- For post-graduation, the student should be admitted to post-graduate courses in science, arts, commerce, technical, or management at reputed government institutions/AICTE-approved institutions of West Bengal.
- The applicant must take an M. Phil or Doctoral course in a state-aided Institutions for research courses. NON-NET Junior Research Fellow and NET-Lectureship.
