It provides ₹13,500 annually for five years to farmer families, funded by ₹7,500 from the State and ₹6,000 from the Central Government.

The amount is disbursed in three instalments: ₹5,500 in the Kharif season (October-November), ₹4,000 in the Rabi season, and ₹2,000 in the Zaid season. The scheme helps farmers upgrade tools, and invest in modern agricultural facilities.

Benefits of YSR Rythu Bharosa

Farmers who collectively own cultivable land will receive Rs.13,500 per family each year, including Rs.6,000 from PM-KISAN in three payments, regardless of the size of their land holdings.

1. The eligible landowner farmer receives a financial support of Rs.13,500 in three instalments, as detailed below:

  1. The first instalment of Rs.7,500 in May (including Rs.2,000 from PM-KISAN).
  2. The second instalment of Rs.4,000 in October (including Rs.2,000 from PM-KISAN).
  3. 3rd instalment of Rs.2,000 in January (excluding the PM-KISAN plan).

2. The Government of Andhra Pradesh provides financial assistance of Rs.13,500 per year to landless tenant farmers and ROFR cultivators in the BC, SC, ST, and minority categories.

  • The first instalment of Rs.7,500 is due in May.
  • The second instalment of Rs.4,000 is due in October.
  • In January, the third instalment of Rs.2,000 was due.

3. When a farmer dies, his or her spouse receives financial aid. However, beginning the next year after death, financial support will be provided to the legal heir following the changes made to the land.

4. The benefit amount under this cheque is delivered directly to the beneficiaries’ bank accounts via the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) technique.

Eligibility for Land Owner Farmer Families

  • The scheme benefits all landholder farmer families who jointly own cultivable land, regardless of size, at a rate of ₹ 13,500/- per family per year as per land records, subject to exclusions.
  • Farmer families who cultivate on ROFR and D Patta lands (as proved in the appropriate records) are also eligible for YSR Rythu Bharosa.
  • Farmers who cultivate Acquired Lands for which no compensation was paid are eligible for rewards under the scheme.
  • In the case of joint ownership, the benefit will be sent to the bank account of the family member with the largest landholding. 

Exclusions

The following types of recipients with greater economic status are not eligible for benefits under the scheme:

1. Institutional landholders.

2. Farmers and their family members who hold constituency positions as (Ex) and Present Ministers, MPs, MLAs, and MLCs.

3. All superannuated/retired pensioners from the aforementioned group who receive a monthly pension of Rs.10,000 or more (excluding Multi Tasking Staff / Class IV/Group D personnel).

4. All individuals who paid income tax in the previous assessment year, including doctors, engineers, lawyers, chartered accountants, and architects, who are registered with professional bodies.

  • Aadhaar Card
  • Voter ID

1) Online Application
