Objective of the HDFC Scholarship
The objective behind the launch of the HDFC Parivartan’s Educational Crisis Scholarship Support (ECSS) Programme is to provide financial aid to the needy and brilliant students. Other objectives of the scholarship are given below:
- The scholarship aims to fill the gap arising due to financial status among the underprivileged students.
- Encourages inclusivity for the students from underprivileged sections of society by giving them a chance to study and gain experience from higher education.
- The scholarship is provided by Class 1 so that the basics of the students can be improved, which will be beneficial for their students.
- The scholarship aims to help the family of the scholars by easing the weight of financial strains from their shoulders.
Eligibility Criteria for the HDFC Scholarship
The HDFC Bank has set some criteria for the students to be eligible for the scholarship so that the more needy and caliber-filled students are given priority in the selection procedure. The eligibility criteria to avail the scholarship are:
- The scholarship can be availed of only by the citizens of India.

- Classes 1 through 12 in private, public, or government-aided schools, diploma, ITI, and polytechnic programs;
- Pursuing graduation courses (general courses- BCom, BSc, BA, BCA, etc., and professional courses- BTech, MBBS, LLB, B Arch, Nursing in recognized colleges or universities in India;
- Postgraduate courses in accredited Indian colleges and universities, including professional courses like MTech, MBA, and general courses like MCom, MA, etc.
- The candidate must have passed their previous examination by securing a minimum of 55% marks.
- The family income of the candidate’s family should be less than or equal to Rs. 2.5 Lakhs.
- Applicants who might be facing personal or family crises, which have affected their continuation of their education, will be given priority.

- Choose among the options for School students, undergraduate students, and postgraduate students.
- Click on the option “Apply now”. You will be redirected to the Portal.
- If you have not registered on the portal, register by entering your Email address, Mobile number, and Gmail account.
- After registering, log in to the portal, and then you will be redirected to the “Application form page”.
- To begin the application process, click on the “Start Application” option.
- Fill in the required credentials and upload the required documents.
- Accept the option of “Terms and Conditions”, and click on the “Preview” option.
- Check all your filled details, and click on the “Submit” option to complete the application process.
