• However, they must have secured 70% or above marks in all the years or semesters of their graduation or postgraduation, till the date of application. 
• The period from the month of result declaration to the month of the NITI Internship Scheme must not exceed six months.

Eligibility Criteria for Applicants

Interested students can apply through the official website of NITI Aayog from the 1st to the 10th of every month. Besides, applications must be submitted between 2 to 6 months before the desired NITI Aayog Internship start date. Furthermore, more procedures are mentioned below.

• The department needs to obtain the NOC provided by the college/institution when the candidate joins, and also confirm their eligibility from the same. If any inconsistencies are discovered, the candidate’s application will be revoked by the Vertical
• The respective department will post the chosen candidates’ list on NITI Aayog’s site.
• Besides, NITI Aayog may adjust eligibility requirements, limit the number of applicants called, and determine screening methods based on the number of applications for a specific domain/area.
• Vertical Divisions/Units and OSDs/Senior Consultants/Consultants in charge must ensure that the Intern’s work program and output are satisfactorily completed as mutually agreed upon.
• Additionally, interns must provide a short report or paper to the Heads of relevant Vertical Divisions/Units and OSDs/Senior Consultants/Consultants regarding their learning experience after their assignment.
• The concerned Heads of specific Verticals/Divisions/Units and OSDs/Senior Consultants/Consultants can conduct seminars/presentations for their interns.
