  • Farmers will get two equal installments every year
  • 1 acre or more cultivated land: Rs. 5,000/- for rabi crop and Rs. 5,000/- for kharif crop.
  • 1 acre of cultivable land: Rs. 2,000/- for rabi crop and Rs. 2,000/- for kharif crop.
  • The age the farmer should be between 18 to 60 years
  • Voter ID card is mandatory
  •  Rs. 2,00,000/- will be granted to the claimant on time if the farmer dies unexpectedly. West Bengal State Co-operative Bank Limited is the main bank for this scheme. At the time of verification, the original documents should be shown by the farmer.

Eligibility Criteria Under Krishak Bandhu Scheme

  • All cultivators who possess cultivable land with RoR, Patta, or Forest Patta and recorded (in RoR) Bhagchasi (Sharecroppers) come under this scheme for assistance.
  • No more than once in case of the demise of any farmer or a recorded Bhagchasi (Share Cropper) in the age group of 18 – 60 years does the legitimate successor get an annual subsidy.
